May is one of my favorite months for so many reasons — the warm weather, the celebration of Mother’s Day, the tease of summer and of course, my wedding anniversary. And as if the month of May can’t get ANY better, it does — it’s National Burger Month!!
To commemorate this juicy distinction, I’ll be highlighting some interesting news and reviews throughout the month that celebrate the almighty deliciousness that is the BURGER.
We’ll kick things off with some “feel-good food news” from the folks at Smashburger:
Starting today, 13 Smashburger locations throughout Northern and Central New Jersey will be changing the name of its “New Jersey Burger” to “Boston Burger,” with the company pledging to donate $1.00 from every burger sold from May 1 – 3 to One Fund Boston, a fund created by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino to raise money for those most affected by the tragic events that unfolded during The Boston Marathon.
Smashburger has 13 locations throughout Northern and Central New Jersey including Clifton, East Brunswick, East Hanover, Florham Park, Hackensack, Montclair/Glen Ridge, Morris Plains, Newark Liberty International Airport (Terminal C), New Providence, North Brunswick, Paramus, Parsippany and Ramsey.
More burger-licious fun to come…
