Now that Roc is in preschool, I’m always on the hunt for something healthy, yummy and easy to either pack in his lunch box or have ready for him when he comes home. I’ve been a big fan of the Kidfresh line of frozen kid’s meals with hidden veggies for a while now, and have even been packing Roc their Wagon Wheel Mac + Cheese in a little Thermos® when he eats lunch at school (I literally microwave it at 7:30am, load up the Thermos® and it is a perfect toddler-friendly temperature by the time he’s ready to eat it at 11:45!)
And now, my chicken-nugget-loving little boy is completely over the moon about Kidfresh’s Super Duper Chicken Nuggets. I’m pretty excited about them, too, since there are puréed veggies within them (onions and cauliflower to be exact) and they’re not made with any of that weird, nasty stuff you hear that other chicken nuggets are made from.
Ever think your child would eat millet flour? Yep, that’s that kind of whole-grain goodness I’m talking about, and just another element to why these nuggets are Super Duper. And whether you cook them in the toaster or the microwave, your kids are sure to be pleased with the overall flavor.
So here’s the scoop: you have a few opportunities to be part of the excitement that is Kidfresh. I am co-running a Twitter Party on Tuesday night, where the conversation will be all about avoiding meal-time dramas and the importance of healthy eating around the holidays. We’re also giving away over $250 worth of prizes! Those deets are below.
As an added bonus for mom a la mode readers, am providing an exclusive giveaway of a Thermos® Fire Truck lunchbox filled with coupons for Kidfresh meals. Enter today:a Rafflecopter giveaway
