Cool Beans! It’s National Coffee Day….
September 29 is National Coffee Day! So let’s raise our mugs in celebration… and fill them with the best freebies and “pocket –change” deals that are being served up. No downloading an app, no printing a coupon and no purchase required. To take advantage of these deals, all you have to do is show up.
Chik-Fil-a: FREE hot or iced coffee at PARTICIPATING stores, which means many locations are offering this deal, but possibly the ones within driving distance of you aren’t. If that’s the case, don’t have a (Chik-Fil-a) cow, you have plenty of other options.
Cumberland Farms: FREE Coffee Fridays! (Note: this starts on the Friday AFTER National Coffee Day.) Every Friday in October, Cumberland Farms is giving away ANY size Farmhouse Blend for FREE.
Dunkin Donuts: Free medium cup of its brand new Rainforest Alliance Certified hot Dark Roast coffee. One per person, 9/29 only.
Kangaroo Express: Hot cup of Bean Street Coffee for one PENNY. One per person, 9/29 only, 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. or while supplies last.
Krispy Kreme: FREE 12 oz cup of Krispy Kreme House, Decaf or Dark Roast coffee or a 12oz Mocha, Latte or iced coffee for $1. Both deals are one per person, 9/29 only. Not valid in Puerto Rico.
McDonald’s: FREE small cup of coffee during breakfast hours, concluding their 2 week promotion of FREE coffee that began on September 16.
Starbucks & Caribou Coffee: Offering FREE samples…don’t they do that every day? But included under freebies for two reasons: 1) To ward off the question, “What about Starbucks?” and 2) 10% of every Caribou Amy’s Blend coffee purchase will be donated to CancerCares through October 31.
Orbit Gum: As a crusader against coffee breath, Saturday Night Live cast member, Jay Pharaoh and his breath-freshening Orbit entourage will be in Manhattan around Union Square handing out a truck full of sugar-free gum between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
