The Toy Insider’s HOT 20 Toys for Holiday 2013 {Giveaway Closed}

The Halloween decorations are likely packed up, and let me guess – the holiday gift lists have started, right?

The good news is there are some really awesome toys out there for your little ones who are enamored with darlings like Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First or are into high-tech tablets, robots and motion control toys.

If you follow me on social media, you know that I was recently at The Toy Insider’s Biggest Day of Play in NYC, where I got a firsthand look at the HOT 20 Toys for Holiday 2013.  Which was super cool!

So a little bit of background on the folks at The Toy Insider:

The Toy Insider is the leading holiday gift guide for toys and gifts, led by Laurie Schacht and a panel of esteemed toy experts who offer toy and gift ideas for all ages and both genders.  In a phone interview, Laurie told me that they review over 1,000 toys and start a year in advance (they’re currently looking at toys for the 2014 holiday season if you can believe it!)  And then they make their list.

The guide is broken down by age group (0-2 years old, 3-5 years old, 6-8 years old and 9+ years old) with an in-depth description of the developmental needs and interests for each specific group.
