Welcome to my blog, mom a la mode. mom a la mode is owned and operated by Groupe A La Mode, LLC.
A little bit of background on me: I spent my career working in New York City within the fashion, food and lifestyle sectors in PR and Integrated Marketing Communications, and have always considered myself a writer. From countless press releases on seasonal designer collections, to speaking points and blog posts for executives (and even celebrities!) my writing has carried me through many fascinating jobs in the most interesting of industries.
And now my career has taken me to my home office, where I’ve founded Groupe A La Mode, LLC, a boutique consultancy overseeing various PR/Social Media and freelance writing projects. But as much as I enjoy adding value to clients’ brands, and helping them be the best they can be….I wanted to have a creative outlet of my own.
Enter, momalamode.net… where foodie intersects with fashionista, is blended with a heaping heartful of wife/mommy, and served with a cherry on top.
My goal is quite simple — to entertain, inspire, connect and share with other mommies and folks out there through a delightful mix of content: I’ll be serving up tasty bytes including sweet anecdotes from my life as a mom-on-the-move and saucy recipes from my kitchen, complemented by style & pop culture commentary, my family’s travels & adventures, some special guest contributors and more.
