Why I’m Totes Into The Bouqs

A few months ago, I was scrolling through my Instagram feed when I came across a post from The Zoe Report (fashion stylist, Rachel Zoe’s trend machine) gushing over some cool blooms from The Bouqs.  I figured The Bouqs was a trendy, LA-based floral shop, so I LIKED, commented on the post and went about admiring the florals from a far.

That is, until I received an email from the folks at The Bouqs formally introducing me to the company, and giving me a chance to stop and smell the roses myself.

You could imagine my delight!

So here’s the scoop on The Bouqs Company (as they’re officially called):

Trendy? Yes.

LA-based? Yes. (Venice Beach to be exact)

Brick-and-mortar floral shop?  Nope.

Sound the trumpets: East Coast, West Coast and nationwide – we can ALL enjoy The Bouqs!

This new online floral delivery company offers awesome flowers shipped direct from the West Coast, as well as some blooms picked from the side of an active volcano in South America.

You read that correctly – active volcano.

Fresh, simple, eco-friendly – and FREE SHIPPING always!

Hashtag: Awesome.

I received a shipment of hot-hued roses to check out The Bouqs firsthand and I was very pleased with the quality, freshness and cool-factor.

Day 1 of my delivery from The Bouqs

I selected the Hot Lava bouquet from the Volcano Collection — $40 flat fee with scheduled delivery – a vibrant bunch of yellow and fuchsia roses that were shipped straight from The Bouqs’ eco-friendly, sustainable farms on the Volcano in South America.

There are also florals shipped directly from California (next day!) for a $50 flat fee – with names like Frisco’d, Valley Girl, Big Sur-ge, Joshua Tree and Napa.

No hidden fees. No add-on nonsense for lotions, candies or ridiculous stuffed animals.  And best of all, the flowers actually come to you as they are pictured on the website.

Totes amazing, yes?

I was so stoked about The Bouqs that I joined their affiliate network (hence the shiny new banner at top of screen)  And I even went ahead and sent a bouquet as a birthday gift to my dear Aunt Fe. (And a few other friends/readers are due to receive one, too!)
