I’ve heard lots of buzz about Soul Kitchen, Jon Bon Jovi’s community restaurant based in Red Bank, New Jersey, and have been dying to go for several reasons:
1. I’ve been a Bon Jovi fan since I’m 7 years old.
2. The menu sounds amazing: American Regional fare featuring fresh, local ingredients that change seasonally.
3. It’s feel-good food: whether you are hungry, or if you hunger to make a difference in your community, JBJ Soul Kitchen is the place to be. No prices, no reservations and no judgement. Just good, healthy food and a commitment to kindness and respect for all who enter.
JBJ Soul Kitchen opened in the Fall of 2011 and I’ve yet to get there. Thankfully, my friend and fellow blogger, Kristin C. of The Awesome Redhead, was there recently, and we can all live vicariously through her experience and amazing photos.
Find her complete review here.
I’d love to hear about your experience if you, too, have been to JBJ Soul Kitchen. Please share in the comment section below.
In the meantime, I’m Livin’ on a Prayer that I’ll get there soon. (I’ll make it, I swear…)
