The Mommy Nearest Summer Challenge is On…{Closed}

This is a sponsored post.

Over the past few months, I’ve shared some of my contributions and experiences with you from my work as Contributor (or “Expert Mom” as they like to call it) to Mommy Nearest. The free mobile app, as you’ll recall, helps parents find child-friendly resources wherever they may be throughout the NYC Metro Area and the places listed on the app are rated and reviewed by other parents. (I’m proud to tell you that you’ll find my own two cents within the app about the cleanest bathroom in Times Square to change a diaper.)

The young app has grown leaps and bounds in such a short amount of time, covering not only New York City, but also the outer boroughs, Westchester and Bergen County, New Jersey. And I’m happy to share with you a big announcement that the folks behind Mommy Nearest are pretty darn excited about:

MommyNearestChallengeToday, Mommy Nearest is launching a summer-long program called The Mommy Nearest Summer Challenge. The program basically rewards moms and dads engaging with the app for things that they already do, like adding their favorite kid-friendly places, rating/reviewing other places, etc.

The top competitors get rewarded in cash and prizes: the top individual prize is $1,000 cash and second and third place get iPad minis. Some of the other prizes include free kids classes at Gymboree and Wee Ones Club, free babysitting services by Urban Sitter and more.

So how does this work?

  • First, if you’re not familiar with the Mommy Nearest app, get familiar with it fast.
  • Start by downloading it (it’s free, folks!) to your iPhone or Android device.
  • Then, start rating/reviewing places you see on the app.  Think there’s a place missing that should be included as a family-friendly destination? Add it yourself, right on the spot.

The users who add/rate/engage the most on the app get qualified to win the cash and prizes – it’s that easy.   And did I mention that it’s completely free to join the challenge?  Yup.

Ready to play the Mommy Nearest Summer Challenge?  Visit the website with complete details and get started by clicking here.

Winners will be announced shortly after Labor Day, so start playing today. You have nothing to lose and possibly a cool prize to gain!

Enjoy the #SummerChallenge!
