Egg-cellent Ideas for Nutritious Meals

January 30, 2013 by Lisa Pisano 2 Comments

I often hear from friends (and read on Facebook) that parents of young kids seem to always be on the hunt for new, nutritious recipes to serve their families. And if you and your kids love eggs as much as my son and I do, then keep reading…

The folks at Eggland’s Best Eggs have compiled the top 20 recipes from a nation-wide Eggland’s Best “Your Best Recipe Contest” into a free, downloadable cookbook, which I thought might be something that my readers would enjoy.

My family and I happen to be big fans of Eggland’s Best eggs.

Why?  Well, without sounding too much like a press release, I dig them for their high nutritional value: 25% less Saturated Fat
• 10 times more Vitamin E
• 3 times more Vitamin B12
• 2 times more Vitamin D
• More than double the Omega-3
• 35% more Lutein than other eggs in the market.

If recipes like Asparagus & Mushroom Quiche, Korean Bibimbap Salad and Peanut Brittle Pie sound different and appealing, I think you’ll be in for an egg-cellent cooking adventure with the variety of ways you can incorporate eggs at breakfast, lunch and dinner!

So here’s how this works:

To download the eCookbook for FREE (I’m told it’s a $9.99 value):

1.  Visit their special promotion page and connect your Facebook account to “like” Eggland’s Best on Facebook.

2.  Once you’ve connected your Facebook account, click the red button to download your eCookbook.

This free eCookbook download offer is only available through February 15, 2013.

If you decide to try out any of the recipes, I’d love to know about it! Please leave a comment below and let me know how they came out, and what your family thought of them.

I, too, love a good savory breakfast and eggs fit that bill. Just made an egg and turkey bake that looks similar to the cover photo.

I don’t normally check out the brand name of the eggs I buy; I usually just go for the cheapest ones in a cardboard carton (I hate the styrafoam ones), so I’ll have to check out Eggland’s eggs next time I’m in the supermarket!
