For those of you who might not know, my brother was recently married on December 23rd, and my husband, son and I were all in the wedding party. It was a beautiful day, both in weather and in spirit. Here are some photos for mom a la mode’s “Wordless Wednesday.” Enjoy!

Hair stylist, Gina, created a woven, pinned effect and used the pearl hair clips from my own wedding 5 years ago.

TIA Cosmetics Executive Makeup Artist, Bettina, created a sparkly eyelid to complement our gold dresses. Perfectly festive for a Christmas wedding.

The bride’s mother made us these faux Persian lamb capelets for our dresses.

The bride’s gorgeous bouquet, with something “old” — my family’s antique cross from the 1900s (I wore it for my wedding, too!)

champagne roses + champagne = win win!

I prepared for this wedding as if going on an airplane with a toddler: lots of snacks, stickers, toys, iPad and juice boxes

On our way to the church!

The star of the show (aside from the bride and groom, of course!)

We packed a change of shoes for our tired little ring bearer — his cookie monster loafers were a hit!

Dr. & Mrs. cut the cake

These are the boxes mom and I put together for the rehearsal dinner. Inside are homemade biscotti and Italian cookies.

Happy Holidays from the Happy Couple!
